Hey Friends,

The traditions, culture, diversity and vibrant colors representing India have always mesmerized me. The captivating art and craft emerges and glorifies from different local regions of India. 

 #VocalForLocal is a new hashtag floating everywhere to promote the local handicrafts and products beautifying different regions of India, so find your focal and go vocal for your local. Therefore to celebrate 74 years of Independence on this 15th August and in order to promote self-sufficient and self-reliant India me and my friend Viresh Kumar are promoting Lucknowi Chikankari by launching a campaign under Maha Mandi event at NITIE, Mumbai.


   


Chikankari, an ancient form of white floral embroidery, intricately worked with needle and raw thread on a variety of fabrics like cotton, muslin, silk, organza etc. It is also called shadow work. It's an intricate and elegant art of embroidery pursued with a needle on a fabric and the needlework requires time and patience, that's why the final product appears appealing. It highlights the talent of local women from Lucknow who work on this craft.


    In addition to this, On this Independence Day here an emotional tribute to the soldiers depicting their love for the country!!   Here a try to Spread that emotion. This song is very close to my heart.
