This Independence day,  Our #MandiSir organised a webinar welcoming 2 important personalities:

  1. Shri Abhay Jere, who is the Chief Innovation Officer, Ministry of Education, GOI.
  2. Ms. Apeksha who is the Founder of Zyka Ka Tadka.

He focused on important insights on how entrepreneurship is the new trend and how one should contribute towards making India more Atmanirbhar. He emphasized on focusing more on R&D in the country. He advocated the Prime Minister’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. He asked that we should become self-reliant on ourselves. It was great to have him in the occasion. He made us learn how to be more confident and stand out of the crowd.

Here is the delicious meal and the happy faces.

A Well known Cooking Website which hosts cooking shows with moms. It was initiated by Ms. Apeksha, who is our senior and her mother. It was a pleasure to see her in the occasion. She just followed her passion. You just need to come up with Creative ideas and implement them.  She had earlier joined the prestigious company P&G. But later, quit that job to start this cooking platform. 

She encouraged us to follow your passion. A lot of entrepreneurship endevours take place on campus which resonates with 1/12 Mandi Sir’s idea that we should earn atleast 1Rs for every 12 Rs we invest in education, so a lot of startups are being opened in NITIE Mumbai. 

She focused on how to generate and idea and stick with. We should never stop chasing our dreams. She dreamt to become an IPL manager. It needs courage to dream that big. Her mother constantlky supported her in all her endeavours. One thing which surprised me when she mentioned about her mother, that she had once addressed a large crowd without any preparation. They are talented and this love and bond they share is blooming through their "Zayka ka tadka".  For her efforts, #MandiSir even called out that her mother is nothing less than a professor which is an award in itself. 

She encouraged us by saying "Dont wait for an Umbrella and look for your space, rather become an umbrella and provide space and opportunities to others".

Truly an energetic and lively soul she is!
